You’d think that Google Street View cars would occasionally capture pictures of UFOs.  Think about it.  Dozens of cars driving all over the planet snapping random pictures of the geography for several hours each day – they’re bound to capture an odd, unexpected object in the sky from time to time.  And they do.  Another report emerged today on YouTube pointing out a UFO captured in a Google Street View photo shot over a Taiwan Air Force Base.  The photograph is intriguing and Altered Dimensions verified that the photo is indeed in a Google Street View frame (see below).  However, whatever was captured in the photo appears in only one, single frame – it is not found in either the frame before or after.

Scott C. Waring found the unusual aerial object and quickly created a YouTube video of the find.  As Scott explained, it was important to capture the find in a separate video because all other UFOs that he has reported in the past have been “deleted by Google within 3-6 months” (granted, this may be the normal picture-rotation period for Google Maps).

Below are several views of the unusual object as well as an aerial view of the Air Force Base where the object was sighted.

Scott’s unusual find is not the first time someone has discovered a UFO in a Taiwanese Google Street View photo.  For instance, in November 2011, someone spotted a UFO in a series of Google Street View frames shot in the Xinyi Township in Taiwan.  In the photo below, you can see what appears to be a disc-shaped object hovering over a mountain area.  In this particular case, the UFO appears in several Google Street View frames, alongside a bird in some frames which in contrast, make the unidentified object even more interesting.
